patricia + kevin engaged

our session with patricia + kevin turned into an adventure rather than portrait session! the weather was awesome but windy and everyone was out that day at millenium park. i wanted to get something different, so we started at the BP bridge going to lake shore dr.

the wind was blowing hard on the bridge so kevin had to hug her tight! ^_^

they're so in love at each other, and people can see it too! i heard passersby commenting how cute they were. one couple even told me that i did a great job! ^_^

it always fun when our couple is willing to try our ideas. i saw a ladder going down to the water, so i challenged kevin to climb a few steps down! FYI, i shot this by laying down halfway on the ledge!


i was looking for a restroom and i found this spot. the restroom was locked, but we did find a nice spot to continue our little adventure.

we then went to the CTA loop while waiting for the sun to go down.


special thanks to the nice train operator who waited for me before closing the door!
i actually didn't get on the train, so we got seperated and i took the orange line that went around the loop before finally arriving at their stop! ^_^

jie hae + james engaged

most times couples pick their engaged session locations. this time I get to pick the location! we did jie hae + james session at our top secret locations. ^_^ one of the location is an abandoned storage house that won't be there much longer, so I really wanted to shoot there before they demolish it.

julie + james engaged

we braced the cold weather to these great shots of julie + james at north ave beach around sunset. it was great to be able to capture them having a great time together. we then went to signature lounge where james proposed! it was clear sky so you can see the city lights. it was a great night and we had a really fun time! ^_^









they were kind enough to send us this encouragind note after the session:
"James and I just want to thank-you again for the engagement session yesterday. We again are very impressed with you both and cannot wait to see the pictures. You made us both feel comfortable and it was a great experience!"

I think one of the million reasons God created sunrise is so photographers can take beautiful images ^_^ I had an awesome time with kristin + kevin at 6AM watching sunrise in evanston, where kevin proposed ^_^

grace + benson engaged

love is in the air when we shot grace + benson engagement session. they're such a fun couple to be with and were willing to climb up tree trunks and branches for us ^_^ Thank God for a great weather as it was raining earlier in the week. we finally get to spend time with this hot couple. brianna + brian is just fun to be with and very much in love with each other. she fell in love with our style the first time she saw our images online, and brian being a graphic designer also love our artistic style. can' wait to shoot your wedding in milwaukee next year!

we had so much fun with nicky + jeff in the park! jeff is fun to be around and makes nicky laugh all the time, and she looks so lovely and carefree when laughing ^_^ we had great weather too with clear sky and vibrant sunset!
